Meet the team

Say hello to the KnowledgeBox blog team…

Sarah Warbrick - KnowledgeBox Publisher

Sarah W - KnowledgeBox Publisher

Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m the Senior Publisher for KnowledgeBox Online, and have worked in educational publishing for nearly 20 years.

I ‘look after’ the service, and make sure that new, topical resources are published weekly.

I’d love to hear about how you use KnowledgeBox in the classroom, and hear your suggestions about the learning resources you’d like to see on the service. All you have to do is email your suggestions to me at sarah.warbrick@pearson.com.

Judy's dog Jack

Judy's dog "Jack"

Hello, I’m Judy and I’m the Senior Marketing Co-ordinator for Pearson Education Primary.

I confess to being a little camera-shy, so I’d prefer to use an image of my rescue dog, Jack – a sweet rottweiler-boxer cross!

I’ve worked in Pearson’s Marketing Division for over 7 years.  Much of this time was spent on promoting Abacus Evolve and now I’d like to share the delights of KnowledgeBox with you.

I’m always keen to hear your views on KnowledgeBox, so drop me a line to judy.anders@pearson.com .

Catharine S - Content Producer

Catharine S - Producer

Hi, I’m Catharine Slade, the Producer who works with Sarah and the rest of the KB team, to make sure that everything on KnowledgeBox works in the way you want it to. Yes, I’m also the one in those “How to use KnowledgeBox” videos too!

I’m an ex-Primary Teacher and Deputy Head and have been writing and creating digital media and platforms for the last 12 years.

I am always very keen to hear about the ways in which you are using new technologies in your classroom, and any ideas you may have for how we can make KnowledgeBox even better, so feel free to e-mail me on catharine.slade@pearson.com.

Please welcome our first guest teacher blogger, Sue Wilcock.  Great to have you on board, Sue! here’s a little bit about her in her own words:

Sue Wilcock

Sue Wilcock

“Hi everyone, I teach year 3 and I’ve worked at my present school for about 13 years and have been a full time class teacher for the last 9 years.  I am the ICT co-ordinator and also have responsibility for Modern Foreign Languages. I’ve taught all ages from Reception to A level and have never been happier than I am now teaching year 3.

Year 3 children are so enthusiastic about everything and it’s really uplifting to spend your day with people who are so upbeat and positive (well, most of the time anyway!). When I’m not working, you would be most likely to find me on top of a mountain; walking in the summer, or skiing in winter.”

You can read Sue’s first post on Children’s Book Week here.

James Hill
James Hill

Hi everyone. My name is James and I’ve recently taken over as the manager of the KnowledgeBox blog. I’m very new to the world of KnowledgeBox and still becoming familiar with all that it has to offer, but looking forward to finding out all about the service in the coming weeks and months through this blog.

I started working at Pearson Education in 2007 and before that I spent some time teaching English and studying Mandarin in Taiwan.

If you have any thoughts on the blog please feel free to get in touch: james.m.hill@pearson.com
